Preschool students should wear comfortable clothes with sneakers. On Chapel Day, preschool students are to wear chapel dress (see below).

Grades K through 5:

Students will be required to wear khaki pants (which can be any solid color) and polo or Henley school shirts. Tennis shoes should be worn every day except Chapel Day, when tennis shoes are optional.

Socks (or pantyhose on Chapel Day for female students) should be worn with shoes. Shoes must be properly laced and tied at all times. No flip-flops are allowed.

Students will be required to wear chapel dress for Chapel services.
Chapel dress is defined as:

Male students will wear a tie, dress pants, and dress shoes or tennis shoes. Female students will wear dresses or skirts; pants are not allowed on Chapel Day. No jeans, shorts, sweatshirts, sweat suits nor athletic type wind suits are permitted on Chapel days.

Grades 6-12:

Female students in grades 6-12 will be required to wear a school shirt and khaki pants (in any solid color) or skirt which falls below the knee. Knee-length shorts may be worn until October 1st.

Male students will be required to wear khaki-type slacks and a school shirt.

Students will be required to wear chapel dress for Chapel services.
Chapel dress is defined as:

Male students will wear a tie, dress pants, and dress shoes or tennis shoes. Female students will wear dresses or skirts; pants are not allowed on Chapel Day. Dresses and skirts must fall below the knee. No jeans, shorts, sweatshirts, sweat suits nor athletic type wind suits are permitted on Chapel days.

School Shirt Ordering Information:

Uniform shirts may be ordered through JoAnn’s Embroidery in Madison Heights (434) 929-4124. The cost will vary depending on brand and weight of fabric available.

Parents may also purchase polo or Henley shirts (in any solid color) from any store and have the CCS logo embroidered on. (This service is also available through JoAnn’s Embroidery.) (To reduce the cost of the uniform shirts, a new logo has been designed for the 2005-06 school year.) The cost to have the new logo embroidered will be $3.50 per shirt.

School shirts are required with no exceptions.
